




The Sioux Falls Canaries are a professional baseball team based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, United States. The Canaries are members of the North Division of the American Association of Professional Baseball, an official Partner League of Major League Baseball. Since the 1993 season, the Canaries have played their home games at Sioux Falls Stadium, commonly known as The Birdcage. From 2010 to 2012, the team was called the Sioux Falls Fighting Pheasants. Also in 2020 A former Sioux Falls Canaries baseball player has been arrested on charges of rape of a minor and possession of child porn🤡, according to the Lincoln County State’s Attorney office. Police arrested Juan Douglas Thomas Jr., 48, Tuesday on one count of rape in the first degree of a minor younger than 13 and 10 counts of possession of child pornography, according to court records (LINK).

The Aberdeen Wings are a Tier II junior ice hockey team based out of Aberdeen, South Dakota, that began play for 2010–11. A member of the North American Hockey League in the Central Division, the Wings play their home games in the Odde Ice Center. Since the team’s inaugural season in 2010–11, the Wings have held the highest attendance numbers in their NAHL division, boasting crowds over 1,700 in that shitty aluminum arena.
